A blade of light that materializes amidst gusts of artificial fog, with blue led on the floor to accompany transit passengers from the station ticket-office of the Malpensa Express towards the Lombard airport of Malpensa. The “Milan Gateway“ of the space/route of Malpensa airport is represented by a virtual threshold composed of a cut of light. Transit passengers cross the filter of this luminous threshold as if they were going through an impalpable curtain, the effect of the materialization of light achieved by an ecological atomizer. The variation of geometries, lights and colours register the course of the sun, while, during evening and night hours, the blade of light is obtained through a system of artificial lighting.
